Paleochori is a small, old village on the slopes of Mt Parnon, at an altitude of 850m above sea that is now permanent home of just a bunch of shepherds and their families. However during Easter and Summer break, the place becomes busier with the younger generations preserving their ancestors' homes as vacation houses.
