Wonderful place to go for breakfast! Cross the bridge over the river and sit by the windows with delicious breakfast and great coffee. In winter, sit by the fireplace. In summer, sit outside and watch the ducks and rowers out in the water.

Great food and lovely views, especially if you can grab a table right on the cliffs.
For a half day trip, park up at Golden Cap and Langdon and walk along the coast path down to Seatown, grab lunch, then walk back up!

Walk along the coast path, down through Seatown and up the cliffs the other side. At the Beacon, turn left and start walking inland and you will reach Downhouse Farm!
Great food, spa, cute shops. Lovely location for weddings.

The most delicious, local food is served here, in a stunning estate house. A brilliant place to go for an anniversary, or birthday, or special occasion. I recommend dining in the main room and then taking dessert/tea and cake in one of the living rooms by a roaring fire.
It will be an expensive dining experience, but worth every penny!

A gorgeous new restaurant, Michelin starred with fantastic reviews. They offer a set tasting menu with a drink pairing -- a wonderful place to celebrate anniversaries! Tucked away just up from the high street, this will be a unique and cosy dining experience.

There's also been a new addition to Stonebarrow recently, a sweet pop-up cafe offering coffee and sweet treats -- perfect for that end-of-walk nibble! Called 'Crazy Cow', it can be found by parking in the car park nearest the entrance and walking a short way down the main track :)

Beautiful, old beech trees. A steep walk to get to the top so be ready! But once up there, loads of fun rope swings from the trees so worth the lung work! A stunning, special place.

Great views of Bridport and beyond, a steep, steep climb to get there! Colmer's Hill is very distinctive in the countryside, and you'll be proud of yourself for getting to the top.
