Walk out of the front door, down the road to ladydown lane, left up Ladydown's onto the moor and turn left, follow this towards the coast. You'll know when you're there as you be looking out to sea with ancient stones in every direction; it's breathtaking.

a 45 minute walk from the front door. Down the road and follow to T junction for Penzance, Gurnard head. Up on to the moor, follow the path and it's over the other side. walkk this side of the hill, with a distant view of my cottage to your left and keep going all the way round and a bit back up the hill, worth the effort, great photo's

Max heads up the kitchen and the food is excellent and mostly locally produced. A decent pint of Cornish ale. Well worth a visit. Great views from the garden on a sunny day.

In my opinion having tried 6 chippies in Penzance, Les and his family cook the best in town; think large chunky white cod and crispy soft centred chips, oh my word, very, very good.
It's about 12 minutes from Quoits Cottage, turn right in New Mill and take the back road via Bone Valley and Heamoor.

Amazing views, steep cliff edges, careful with dogs and children. Huge area away from the edges to explore the remnants of the ancient castle. Sunset and early morning spectacular light.
