Restaurants & Bars..

Our favorite places to eat out in Diani. Please be aware that the quality might vary from one week to another...
If you want to taste the most Authentic Swahili dishes: This is one of the best places to go. Expect: Local flavoursome dishes served on earthern pots, long waiting time, a lot of hungry cats & not the best setting/location - but friendly staff.

Kenyan beach bar with lots of live events, concerts etc. The cocktails are great and you can spend the day at the beach in a really relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, they have Karaoke Nights on Wednesdays, bonfire everyday, Tuesday they have Pizza offers, Thursday is for Reggae and so on..

"The Edge" is a high-class, high quality restaurant with the most stunning view over the Indian Ocean. BBQ Friday are okay (1.250 ksh p.P.), but the sea food served on regular nights is even better. We also highly recommend their exclusive, continental breakfast... It costs 1.000 ksh p.P. and is kind of a "All you can eat"-concept where you can pick what you want to eat. But even if you just stop by for a coffee: The view is magic! It is in walking distance of our cottages as well.

The oldest disco in town! On weekends there is an entry fee; but during high season it might be worth a visit. However, we prefer Tandoori just next door, as the atmosphere there is just more entertaining. (And the drinks/service is mostly the same)
