Glenariff Forest Park

The entrance to Glenariff Forest park is just across the road from the Hideaway. With miles of beautiful walks and trails, the park is a must see visit and is the location of the world famous, Glenariff Waterfall walk, with breathtaking waterfalls around each bend of the winding river path which leads you all the way to the bottom of the glen.
Glenariff Forest park boasts miles of beautiful walks with varying degrees of difficulty. The world famous, Waterfall walk starts in Glenariff Forest Park winding its way downhill along the boardwalks through Glenariff Nature Reserve. Walk along the river gorge and past a number of spectacular waterfalls, Ffinishing at Laragh Lodge restaurant and cafe at the bottom of the waterfall glen. Ferns and several rare species of mosses and liverworts line the walk.

You can walk to Laragh Lodge restaurant and bar from the Hideaway (1.5miles) by taking the route through the waterfalls in the forest park. Its a little longer driving by car (3 miles) but you can still see a waterfall or two from the car park.
