Come see the hundreds of different fishing vessels! Colorful, busy, and the mainstay of commercial fishing in Kodiak. If you walk toward Sutliffs, past the A frame Harbor Office, you can visit the 14 interpretive signs, that tell the story of Kodiak island and the many fisheries, way of fishing, the cannery, what a fishing vessel looks like inside.. Its on a boardwalk facing Sutliffs. There are 2 signs about the "boats of Kodiak" so as you are reading the text you can identify what boats you see!
