Beaches
Prince Edward County has some of the best beaches in Ontario. Definitely a must-visit!
Beaches tend to get busy on the Summer weekends, we suggest planning your beach trip ahead of time - book your slot up to 5 days before your trip to guarantee your entry to the local beaches.

Wineries
There are approximately 40 wineries in Prince Edward County. Burgundy-like soil and climate produce amazing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but hey, local winemakers are adventurous and Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Gamay, Pinot Gris, Baco Noir, Merlot etc also have its place in the local wine scene.
Often larger wineries will have a restaurant/snacks/pizza/charcuterie along with the wine shop and wine tasting, but definitely check online before you go. Same goes about the tasting rooms and tours - due to covid many winemakers modified their offerings.
Below is just the few wineries we wanted to highlight.

You can attend one of their programs (range from $45 for half an hour, $75 for an hour and up to $120 per hour) or just come and ride a pony.

It's a small family business located at Campbell Orchards, where you can pick your own cherries and raspberries, pick up local foods (great butter tarts!) at the little store. Patio is open on the weekends this summer and fall! Tasting is available Saturdays and Sundays for from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, but bottle shop is open 9 am-5:30 pm.
Our 4 year old daughter appreciated kids area set up right behind the store.

This place, ran by the sweetest owners, is very child friendly - lots of toys indoors and a massive sandbox outside with the bouncy toys.
And for the adults, did we mention the licensed patio with boozy slushies?
Best part - it's only 3 min drive from the Kente Lodge and is right next to the ice cream shop.
