The parks features a train themed playground, gazebo, basketball court, picnic tables and open areas for informal sports and play. During the winter months, a skating rink is available.

The 13-mile Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation (TART) Trail provides trail users with extended waterfront access in Traverse City, brushing by beaches and a bayfront state park as it weaves through town. The trail then makes its way east through the country-side before terminating in Williamsburg. The TART trail runs down the block from our condo along Railroad Ave.
