The restaurant was a train depot in a past life so the interior has a historic charm, and it boasts a sweet patio for outdoor dining as well. Also of note- their cocktails are quite tasty.

For history and paranormal buffs alike, the Old Jail is a gem. The staff are so friendly and knowledgable and the exhibits are fascinating. The Old Jail, aside from being a museum, was built in 1808, and is home to several spirits.

Old Town Warrenton is a picturesque area with brick sidewalks, full of locally-owned shops. Just off Main Street the roads are lined with gorgeous, beautifully preserved, historic homes. Warrenton was incorporated in 1910, and Main Street itself is still made up of many of those original buildings. Take the short drive to town, grab a coffee at Deja Brew and peruse the shops. Main Street is decorated for every season, fall and Christmas being especially popular, so it makes a wonderful afternoon trip.
