Alpine Helen is a German themed town and a must see when in North GA. Located only about 15 minutes from the Lodge its a perfect day outing for sightseeing, nearby wineries and great German cuisine. Anna Ruby Falls is nearby for a beautiful walk up to a stunning waterfall.

Clayton is the small town USA you see in the movies, Literally! Recent films such as Hillbilly Elegy, Blue Ridge, Christmas in the Smokies, Wanderlust, and many others. The Lodge was the short term home for both actresses in Wanderlust. Tallulah Falls is nearby and Deliverance and Disneys, the great Train escape was filmed here many moons ago! Enjoy the shops and food here and we promise you won’t want to return home! :)
