This Village is known for the Information Center to the Sleeping Bear dunes. You must stop there to get maps, and plan your visit to the dunes- they sell park passes and have a great video about the dunes. Your gateway to the dunes!!
There are 2 beaches in Empire and several restaurants, art galleries and gift shops. I think the JOE's Grill has the best food.

Glen Arbor is on Lake Michigan known for the Cherry Republic store and restaurant as well as Boonedockers Grill that has live music most nights. Clothing and gift shops. Arts Tavern may have the best grilled whitefish and tator tots. Head north and you'll find the HOMESTEAD an amazing resort with several good restaurants and some nice walking areas.

Leland is FISHTOWN. It is a Lake Michigan Harbor/Marina. A fishing village where you can look at boats, grab a cup of clam chowder, select an expensive pair of earrings or just eat ice cream and fudge. You may schedule a boat trip to the Manitou Islands, what a real piece of history.!

Once a bustling cargo port. This precious town has a fabulous public beach on Lake Michigan with swings and volley ball net. The lighthouse sits at the end of a long pier and you can just imagine it guiding the boats into the Harbor. I recommend The Crescent Bakery and The Storm-cloud Restaurant and Brewery. But the Paul Oliver ART Gallery is a real must!!
Food scene
Lovely breakfast, Great coffee, friendly service. People love the Sloppy Joes and the ice cream. I love the blueberry waffles and pancakes. The soups are good too.

Best whitefish and steak bites! My favorite place for a special dinner. Full bar, indoor and outdoor seating! great menu and competent staff. You will love it! Sometimes they have live music!
