This is a wonderful Italian restaurant 5 minutes from Condo. It is now known as Trattoria de Nuevo. It has lovely garden in back and most of the pasta is house made. All breads and deserts are house made. Naomi the owner is lovely and Silvia our favorite server.

Nice small restaurant in wonderful neighborhood near Costco and easy to reach by Uber. Great Pizza and Javier the manager will make sure you are well taken care of. We love this small place in quiet neighborhood.

This is a wonder place in the local neighborhood of Versailles. Excellent menu that changes regularly and Memo is great host and runs a wonderful restaurant. Cocktails here are also excellent.

We like this restaurant on Las Muertos Beach. It is part of the La Palapa group and prefer it to La Palapa across the street. We like it for the reasonably priced breakfast. Lunch and dinner are expensive but good. The setting is spectacular. The owners, Alberto Perez and his wife Renee, are good friends and Alberto has worked very hard on the recipes of this local favorite. We prefer to La Palapa because the recipes are more unique.
Great also for cocktail at sunset on beach. During the day they have a very classy beach club with food service. One needs to book in advance and the beach chair with towel is expensive at $20 per chair.

This unique cafe with outdoors dining space along the Centro steps just a short distance from the main cathedral in town. It is great after Artwalk on a Wednesday evening. This is traditional French bistro food and very unique and authentic.

This is a favorite on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for music and outdoor BBQ. One needs to take a taxi or Uber here and back. It is on the River (Rio Caule). The ribs and chicken are excellent. Portions are very large.

This is a great tapas bar with excellent cocktails. The usually have an entree special. We recommend making a booking at this small restaurant. One can sit on side walk or inside. Benjamin is wonderful server and will walk you through the evenings best choices.

A few hundred feet to the East of Las Animas Beach is a wonderful restaurant to go for the day and enjoy the beach and swimming as well as wonderful food and cocktails. It is only accessible by boat and contact them directly for a booking and they will arrange a boat to pick you up in Boca di Tomatlan. Simply take the orange bus in front of the condo to the end of the line past Mismaloya and take to end of line. Go into town and to the pier and use WhatsApp to contact the boat driver, Phillipe at +52 322 253 1645. Booking is important and taking Phillipe is least expensive, 50 pesos per person.

This is a very special place with great gardens, a fantastic restaurant for lunch, and great trails if you want to get some exercise. The trails are well marked and maintained.
