Skiing
Some of the best skiing our family has done has been at the little "mom and pop" resorts. I grew up skiing at Jiminy Peak in Hancock, MA. Our family takes an annual trip in February to a new resort each year and have been to some large and small mountain resorts. Otis ridge is special as it is a hidden jewel. A simple serene mountain.
A few miles from the cottage! A wonderful family ski ridge w tough and steep terrains as well as easy slopes for beginners of all ages! This is a hidden GEM! Great for all skiers! Old school lodge which adds to the charm. If you want to do 20 runs, go for it. No real time spent in line. You’ll spend a fraction of the time as major resorts. Quaint. Rare find. Affordable. And Grouse House restaurant right on slope. Far superior than skiing food.

Catamount has expanded its menu of year-round offerings with the 2019 addition of the Catamount Zip Tour featuring the longest zip line in the USA at 5,523 feet.
