There is a thriving and vibrant Amish community in Ethridge. On Highway 43 in town you will find an area dedicated to the Amish community. You can arrange Amish wagon rides and purchase furniture and other items made by these skilled craftsman.

This is about a 75 minute drive from the ranch but it is one of the most beautiful lakes you will ever see. Plenty of picnic areas, marinas etc.

Hard to find but an incredible butcher shop. Awesome owners who will give great recommendations. They will custom cut for you. Take your selections back to the ranch and cook them on the grill. You will not be disappointed. (To find the place turn into Chiles Propane area (sign) on College Avenue. You drive past what looks like gas pumps but the Butcher Shop is right behind the pump area.
