Luray Caverns is a must see! You can make an all day trip out of Luray Caverns as they have so much to see and do. Not only the Caverns, which is the largest caverns on the East Coast and known as one of the most spectacular caverns in the world, the property also features the Car & Carriage Museum, Shenandoah Heritage Village, Toy Town Junction, The Garden Maze, The Rope Adventure Park , and The Stonyman Gem Mining Sluice.

With two miles of trails, as well as open spaces and scenic rest areas, the Luray-Hawksbill Greenway is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet, watch the wildlife along the creek or go for a walk or jog. It is completely paved, so bring your bikes! The Ruffner Plaza on the Greenway is the center of many music festivals and other local activities.
We visit the Greenway often! It is such a peaceful walk through town and along the creek. We highly recommend it if you want to stretch your legs!
