Farm, cafe, and bakery. Best croissants and wonderful bread- Fennel Sea Salt is a favorite. The place is worth a visit. In warmer months there is outdoor seating too. Great view of the farm. From our BnB it is a beautiful drive along Lake Leelanau. One of my favorite roads in Leelanau County is French road. Find your way there and take it to M204, through the town of Lake Leelanau, to 9 Bean Rows. Come home along the west
shore of Lake Leelanau. You won't be disappointed.

This is fantastic hiking/skiing trail system just beyond the Woolsey airport, north of Northport. There are a variety of loops and distances, with several that have out/back jogs to the Lake Micigan shore. One of my favorites.

One of my all time favorite places, this is a fantastic trail that offers access for hiking, cross country skiing that is groomed for skating and classic, and single track mountain bike trails. You won't be disappointed.

One of our favorites is the Tart trail from Traverse City to Suttons Bay. A lovely ride through farm country, you can stop at Farm Club for a refreshing drink and a bite to eat, as well as many options in Suttons Bay. My favorite stop is my good friend Kate Thornhill's Leo Creek Preserve, a lovely garden for a quiet stop just before arriving in Suttons Bay. You don't want to miss this one.
