For the most generous portions on the banks of the Severn, this is the place to go. Old family business serving great breakfasts too in season April to October.

Sightseeing
Only a 5 minute drive from the cottage and you are back in Victotian times, only a couple of hundred years after the Garden Cottage was built!
One of 10 Ironbridge tourist attractions to visit. Our advice is to buy the annual pass. Visit all 10 as many times as you want in 12 months. If you miss any out in your first year, then you have until forever to come back and see the ones you missed.
Great activities as well as the fish and chip shop, sweet shop, and in the summer, a traditional fun fair in the town square. We would also recommend the mine cart ride, if a little scary for the younger ones!

The kids actually loved this place. Great walking tour of history of ceramic tiles in the area and finished the day by making and painting our own tiles. Love it.

It's just a tunnel with tar seeping out of the walls but the kids loved putting on hard hats and feeling a bit spooked out in here.
