Lovely food market selling fresh as well as prepared food. The Danish version of La Boqueria in Barcelona. Very interesting market, super food and a very lovely atmosphere. You can find a lot of fish from fish boutique in the hall, pizza, tapas from tapas del torro (I really like the place) or just a quick coffee. Also a place to drink a cold glass wine or champagne.
Torvehallerne is situated right by Nørreport Station, walk 10-15 min. from my apartment.
Take a look at this place if possible! :-)

On weekends, guests can stay there all night as the restaurant slowly turns into one of Copenhagen 's most popular bars as their DJ’s turn up the volume.
One of the things PS Bar & Grill is best known for is their pitchers. They come in all shapes, but if you haven’t yet experienced PS Bar & Grill, a pitcher of Sangria is a must. Excellent food, well cooked, both for lunch and dinner, both relaxed business as well as for private pleasure. Must visit!! :)

If you want a romantic night out or if you are looking for top-notch lunching and dining around Kongens Nytorv, this is the place. The bistro is French and really delicious. Small alcoves and dining areas lines the different levels. The floors, the walls and ceilings are covered in wines, wine crates, books, arts, old signs and other trappings of a rustic environment.
I really recommend this place for a romantic dinner or just to get a glass of wine.

16 Kongens NytorvIf you want a romantic night out or if you are looking for top-notch lunching and dining around Kongens Nytorv, this is the place. The bistro is French and really delicious. Small alcoves and dining areas lines the different levels. The floors, the walls and ceilings are covered in wines, wine crates, books, arts, old signs and other trappings of a rustic environment.
I really recommend this place for a romantic dinner or just to get a glass of wine.

The food is yummy, without being fussy, and while strongly inspired by continental traditions, maintains a Danish feel. This place is very busy on a Friday night, with up to one hour wait for a table and it is closed on sundays. :)

If you are a sushi lover (like myself) :) i will say, you MUST have to try this place! I can guarantee that this is the best sushi place in Copenhagen! That way, you get a great opportunity to try a bunch of different dishes that you may have never ordered on your own and they are ALL really good. Just YUMMY!! They also have take-away, but if you have the time then stay and enjoy the cool decor. :)

1 NørrebrogadeThis hip burger place is a very cool and close to my apartment, it is located on the corner of Nørrebrogade and The Lakes so you also get a nice view if you sit by the windows! The concept is very simple, you choose 3 burgers out of their 9 kinds + either fries or salad. My favorite is burger nr. 1 Triple Truffle Cheese flammegrilled patty with brie, parmesan,
and blue cheese. Burger nr. 3,4 and 9 is also very good.

This is a very small bar, with the crunch relieved by picnic tables outside. 16 beers on tap and about half of those is Mikkeller. A good number of them is American, and if you don't know what you're ordering, you might end up talking with the sweet bartender.The small size glasses available (common to many places in Copenhagen) makes a glass of beer somewhat reasonably priced at 35 kroner (about $6).

This place is for true wine lovers.. The wine selection is around 60 different bottles and the food menu is Nordic / Spanish and French cuisine.
You can order a single cheese, ham or sausage to nibble, choose a little more and thus create your own tapas plate, or you can jump aboard for a three-course rustic menu that often changes. They do not have an English menu but luckily the staff are too happy to translate the menu for you. Worth a visit! :-)

It's not the biggest collection you'll see in Europe, but is a nice size to be able to view in a single visit if you have plenty of time. :)
You have to leave your bags in lockers in the basement, unusually these are free. There's a decent cafe underneath the modern wing, though quite expensive. You're given a badge at the entrance so you can come and go during the day without problems.

I would recommend to get there a little early because you will surely get to spend a few hours in Louisiana. It is easy to take the train from Nørreport Station or Copenhagen Central Station to Humlebæk St. Station (on the Helsingør St. Line 35 min.) and walk the remaining 10 minutes to the museum. There are even signs pointing to it. Upon arriving to the museum, the exhibits are very interesting and the views quite lovely outside!

You will get a great music experience if you are lucky enough to be here when they have something on the program. :) Also, if you are a student you will always get 20 DKK discount on the ticket price at the door providing that you bring a valid Student ID. At Global you can experience Latin American cumbia, Nigerian afrobeat, Balkan brass and a wide variety of other international musical styles, ranging from acoustic folk music to electronic fusion. A very interesting music experience for every taste:)

It is free to access the tower, and if you want to add some spice to the experience, you can dine in The Tower's restaurant. You must try it but remember it is closed on mondays! :)

GråbrødretorvGråbrødretorv is a very beautiful place situated near the shopping street (Strøget) in the center of Copenhagen. In fact, if you go for a walk on the shopping street, you can go to this square and eat in a more quiet atmosphere. On the square itself, there are many restaurants and some beautiful buildings that are similar to the colored buildings of Nyhavn, so I recommend that you go here if you are in this area.
Parks & Nature
The Copenhagen Lakes is 5 min walk from my place. The vast area around the lakes fills up with strolling couples, panting joggers, brunch devotees, kids feeding the ducks, and best friends sipping thermos coffee while taking in the best views of the city. Try one of the fine cafés: Kaffesalonen at 6, Peblinge Dossering, Café Front Page at 21, Sortedam Dossering, and Den Franske Café, 101, Sortedam Dossering.
Excellent views! During summer you can rent rowing boats at the Søernes Bådudlejning (Copenhagen Lakes Boat Rentals), situated by the Dronning Louises Bridge.

The park has a small sweet lake which you can enjoy and people who mainly come here are the local people who wants to read a book in peace, go for a walk with the dog and couples. This park is hard to spot from the outside so not many tourists knows this park, it might also be an advantage if you are tired of touristy places and want to be surrounded by the locals.

A wonderful place to wander round or shopping - right in the main shopping street - definitely an upmarket store!
Suggest a chance to relax - go down to lower ground floor - have a tea or coffee & a cake from an amazing selection ! If you're hungry you will find a good selection of restaurants at Illum Rooftop while you enjoy the view of the city. A chance to recharge your batteries after all that walking! ( very nice clean toilets also available - free - always a bonus!!) :)

Such a nice selection of sweet products and designs as well as important pieces. Scandinavian design, great for gifts and for the home in different price ranges. The owner will tell you amazing stories behind each piece ... It is always funny to visit this store. Visit if possible:)
