Working fishing village, quaint, tiny streets, good food, cafe's, gastro pubs, great art and souvenir shops. Excellent views from the harbour. You can take the Mevagissey to Fowey ferry from here and book sightseeing boat tours. You can also get a good vegan pasty and eat it on the harbour, if you dont mind the seagulls eyeing you up! Gets very busy in summer.

It has been made famous through movies like Pirates of the Carribean, Poldark, Alice in Wonderland and The Eagle has landed. There are many places to eat and an excellent rum bar right down in the harbour, a hidden gem.

At the end of the Valley trail is the beautiful long sandy beach and friendly village of Pentewan. Hire Kayaks, SUPs, go for a swim and after all that enjoy the two pubs, two cafes and a beach bar and restaurant. Whats not to like!
