Lovely cosy neighbourhood. Quite hippie feel. My beloved cafe Saveurs et Couleurs is very nice for a drink on the way home. Once you are in the neighbourhood you instantly forget all the hassle and feel like in a different world.

Oh Carouge.... People who live in Carouge consider themselves special and privileged :) and they have every right to do so. Cute area with lots of artisanal shops, delicious cafes, vintage stores, a hip vintage cinema and many other things I recommend you discover for yourself. Watch out for various markets on the main square at the weekend. Le Chat Noir, Cafe du Marche, Brasseries Lion d'Or to name but a few places to eat and drinks.

Oh Carouge.... People who live in Carouge consider themselves special and privileged :) and they have every right to do so. Cute area with lots of artisanal shops, delicious cafes, vintage stores, a hip vintage cinema and many other things I recommend you discover for yourself. Watch out for various markets on the main square at the weekend. Le Chat Noir, Cafe du Marche, Brasseries Lion d'Or to name but a few places to eat and drinks.
My favourite neighbourhood. Here you can find the unique spot of the junction of two rivers - the mountain river Arve and the Rhone river that continues all the way to the Mediterranean. Gorgeous place.

I love this neighbourhood because unlike other Geneva areas that can get very quiet this places is always vibrant and offers things to do :) Lots of bars on the Rue Ecole Medicine (mostly full of students but people of ages go). Flea market every Wednesday and Saturday - go early to find some unique bargains. Food market on Sundays. Cafe Remor is also in the are for a bite to eat afterwards.
