We've picked a few of our favourite family things to do in and around Frome.
This is a very sweet little place based on the old fashioned petting zoo. An eclectic mix of rescued animals make up the residents from Guinnea pigs to Emu's, from pot bellied pigs to llamas. There's a play area with sand, trampolines, slides and swings. Mini golf, picnic areas and woodlands. There's a cafe on site selling cheap home cooked food. The Hope centre was set up to help adults with learning difficulties and encouraged to help in the cafe. It's a really sweet cheap day out.

There's also a skate park, basketball court and tennis courts linked to Selwood Tennis Club. Courts can be booked through www.frometennis.net.

One of the few independent cinemas left. There are 3 screens and they often keep one dedicated to kids films. All tickets are just £4 even if its a brand new release. Selection of snacks and drinks available.

Much bigger than the Frome soft play. It gets pretty busy at times so worth ringing ahead but it's big enough to keep 1 to 11 year olds busy enough for a few hours on a rainy day. Quite intense for the adults though.
