Nothing fancy, but close and their hamburgers are tasty. You'll see all of the service trucks here because locals know where good food is! Very limited menu. A real "down-home" feel! They have pizza too.

We try to always visit this restaurant when we go to Pigeon Forge. They have a really neat gift shop too. It's a very busy place, so be prepared to wait. Plenty of shopping around so the wait isn't too big of a deal. The only place that I know of that serves fried cornbread!

Great place to visit if you want a hearty meal. My favorite is their stuffed shrimp. Wonderful steaks too.

This a great place if you want hometown cooking! They are known for all things apple. Quite a drive from the condo, but if you are in the Pigeon Forge area, you might want to check it out.

Adorable little tea room that is very close to our condo. It's on the historic arts and crafts trail. You must make a reservation in advance. It's always packed. Very quaint.

Groupon
Always check out Groupon. We went to the Titanic Museum recently and I saved about $7 per ticket in the parking lot by purchasing a Groupon on my phone. Sometimes deals pop up and don't last long so start looking as soon as you know you are visiting!

Hiking Trail nearby - Porter's Creek Trail
This hiking trail is right down the road. Look for the Greenbrier Entrance to the park on your left. If you see the Hungry Bear Barbeque, you just passed it! The Greenbrier entrance isn't well marked and is a gravel road. Follow signs to the Porter's Creek Trail. You will go by an old cemetery, old homestead (branch to the right on the trail), across a bridge, and end with a waterfall! It's our favorite hike so far.

Going Hiking- Don't forget a backpack!
Lots of the trails include crossing creeks! Bring some hiking shoes or old tennis shoes. Bring bear spray to carry w/ you if you have it. Got your sunscreen?

Foothills Parkway
Foothills Parkway is a beautiful, scenic drive. There is a part of it called the Tail of the Dragon. It is well known to bikers and sports car enthusiasts! There are beautiful views on your way there. Take a picnic lunch and stop somewhere along the way to enjoy.
