What to do in Goa

Hello, Traveller! Interest of each and everyone coming down to Goa can be of wide range, some like to experience new food, some wants to listen to a good music or enjoy chill out places. For example foreigner visitors often asks us about temples, they enjoy spice plantation tour with food served on banana leaves and selection of scented candle oils or birds watching or wildlife sanctuaries, local markets. Visitors from other parts of India are more often interested in Dudhsagar waterfalls, Casinos, water sports activities and also markets. Water sport activities can be found on Calangute beach or Vagator beach, they operate based on weather conditions, so pretty much the main season mostly (December-March) Adding some frequently visited places, for anything else please never hesitate to ask us for any advice. I've taken my mother there as she enjoys the history, but even for those who are not particularly interested in the past, there are nice exhibitions that change regularly that may please your aesthetic soul. There is also small caffe where you can sit and enjoy small bite or beverage. Some weekends too, they have interesting activities happening there. Such as music events, talks, workshops.

If you are to bring something home and you want something "typical" from India, best place to visit would be the Saturday Night market and Anjuna flea market. You'll find plenty of souvenirs there or small local brands with their clothing there, or just ethnic wear. You can get some spice mixes or scented teas or nice shawls, leather bags and more. Expect a lot of bargainig. (Personally if you want to bring home some nice mix like chicken tikka, butter chicken or masala mixes, you may find good selection in local supermarkets) for clothes though, its a nice place to let your eyes dance and soak the atmosphere.
