The quirky building exterior is fabulous, but it's what's inside that will keep you coming back. One of the oldest, largest ovens churns out amazing sourdough and other delicious goodies.

A fun place to head for lunch. Great food and fun atmosphere. The guys who own and run this place are amusing characters. They have music on a Sunday, open fire places and good food & service. A unique experience that I'm sure you'll love!

Many spa and massage places (be sure to book before your stay) to visit, along with an interesting shopping strip and a huge Mill Market complex for those who love anything vintage. Lots of choice in cafes and bars and home to the iconic Lakehouse Restaurant. A walk around the lake is a good way to walk off all the overindulging.

Bustling Dayelsford is a spa mecca for tourists. Many spa and massage places (be sure to book before your stay) to visit, along with an interesting shopping strip and a huge Mill Market complex for those who love anything vintage. Lots of choice in cafes and bars and home to the iconic Lakehouse Restaurant. A walk around the lake is a good way to walk off all the overindulging.
Blackwood is an old gold mining area. The town sits on the picturesque Lerderderg River in the Lerderderg Forest. This is a popular area for hiking. and is home the The Diggers, St Erth Gardens. It's also well known for Bluegrass music, and holds a Bluegrass festival.

Trentham is a beautiful old town, with many of its historical buildings restored. The main street has some interesting shops and cafes. It's also home to Annie Smithers popular Du Fermier Restaurant and the must visit Red Beards Bakery. Housed in a quirky building is one of the oldest & largest sourdough ovens. The bread and treats are to die for!
There's a great golf course and the Trentham Falls are worth a visit, especially after some decent rains. A good Farmers market is also held in the town.
The Drive from Trentham to Dayelsford is lovely, as is the drive from Ballan to Trentham.
