Los Arenales del Sol is a protected area, which consists of a series of virgin dunes (except for walkways) on the shore of the beach. It is considered one of the best beaches on the Valencian coast. The first kilometers of it do not have any type of fixed construction, but towards the end there are several buildings with restaurants and drinks. It limits to the south with the coves of Santa Pola del Este, and to the north with the beach of El Altet. The difference between Arenales and El Altet beach is nothing more than the fact that the second is in front of the homonymous town, being similar in all other ways.
