Neighborhoods
Old Strathcona is one of Edmonton's top neighborhoods to live in and visit. It is located very close to some of Edmonton's best attractions, and is a quiet area of early 20th century homes.
You can walk to Whyte Ave, farmers markets, theatres and live entertainment and the river valley.
Most of the cities festivals happen in this area, or just a short Uber ride or bike ride away.

Garneau
Home to Whyte Avenue, one of the very few 18 hour neighborhoods in Edmonton providing a variety of restaurants, shops, markets, theaters and events.
It's also the part of town with access to the High Level bridge for a scenic walk to Downtown and The Historic Legislature grounds.
It's also the connection of Strathcona to the University area.
Just a 20 minute walk to the neighborhood. At the center of the area is a park and ice rink in the winter. As well as Ritchie market and surrounding amenities such as coffe shops, ice cream, the brewery and Blue Chair Cafe (Live Music). This also borders on Mill Creek Ravine.

Food scene
One of my favorites in Edmonton. Highly recommended , but you may need to make a reservation to ensure you have spot before making the trip over. It's that good.
Definitely worth visiting for coffee, beer, socializing, and working remotely.
