Sunny day

When the weathers great and you want to enjoy the moment.
Secluded beach great when the tides out but steep and pebbly when it’s in. Fresh water shower available courtesy of the waterfall that drops off the cliff onto the beach. Ideal for photography, bird watching, picnics and circular walk along river and back. Watch for peregrine falcons. The track leading to the small parking area is very rough, low profile cars would do well to avoid maybe park at the top where you can just about squeeze two cars on the roadside.

“THE BEST CREAM TEA” You can’t beat the surroundings of the secluded courtyard garden, old water wheel and sound of the mill stream when indulging. The owners have opened their gardens to view for a small entry fee, it’s worth allocating an hour to stroll around, the spring and summer boarders are super.

This is a challenging walk or quick drive. Cracking pub with good honest food and lovely owners. There’s a nice circular walk from the pub to Hawkers hut on the coast, great for walking off lunch or working up an appetite.
