Food scene
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Liz thinks it has the most creative and flavorful dishes in town. The view and the ambiance can't be beat.
The Fairview is .8 miles from Heart Song Cottage. Take a right out of our front door, walk down to The Esplanade in Brant Rock Center, walk through the center and stay to the left, up the "High Road" (which is Ocean St. - just follow the seawall). The Fairview will be at the top of the hill on your right.

The Jetty is about a 5 minute walk from Heart Song Cottage. Take a right out of our front door, walk down to The Esplanade in Brant Rock Center, and you'll see The Jetty on the left, about halfway down the Esplanade.

278 Ocean StThis is a cool beach bar that has good food and drinks and live entertainment. The locals hang here a lot. Just be aware that on weekends after 9pm they have live bands and it gets loud so if you are looking for a quiet place don't go when the bands are playing.

This is great little restaurant right on the harbor, located at the Town Pier in Brant Rock. Good food and reasonable prices make this a local favorite. They have an outdoor patio and a second story deck for great views of the harbor.
The Point is about a mile from Heart Song Cottage. Take a right out of our front door, towards Brant Rock Center. Go right at the end of our street, cross the street and take a left onto Joseph Driebeek Way. Follow that to the end, walk across the Town Pier Parking Lot and you'll see The Point at 93 Central Street, on the corner of the marina. This is a lovely scenic walk.

Rexhame Beach is a quick 5 minute drive from Heart Song Cottage. You can walk for miles, it's sandy and there are usually good waves for body surfing. There is a snack bar and bathrooms. It is also wheelchair accessible. You will have to pay to park.

This is a quick walk from Heart Song Cottage if you don't want to take the car. I like to walk out to the end of the rock and explore the tide pools.
You can walk the seawall from Ocean Street, down to the beach. Or you can walk into Brant Rock Center and access the beach from the concrete stairs in the lot that is on your left as you walk into Brant Rock Center. There is also beach access from North St. in Brant Rock Center.
Brant Rock Beach
3 South StThis is a quick walk from Heart Song Cottage if you don't want to take the car. I like to walk out to the end of the rock and explore the tide pools.
You can walk the seawall from Ocean Street, down to the beach. Or you can walk into Brant Rock Center and access the beach from the concrete stairs in the lot that is on your left as you walk into Brant Rock Center. There is also beach access from North St. in Brant Rock Center.
Ocean Bluff Beach
This is the closest beach to Heart Song Cottage and a favorite place for surfers, divers and snorkelers. Go out our front door, take a right onto Samoset and right onto Ocean St. There are stairs to access the beach right there. You can also walk down to Puritan St. to the concrete stairs that go right into the water at high tide.
Ocean Bluff-Brant Rock

This is the closest beach to Heart Song Cottage and a favorite place for surfers, divers and snorkelers. Go out our front door, take a right onto Samoset and right onto Ocean St. There are stairs to access the beach right there. You can also walk down to Puritan St. to the concrete stairs that go right into the water at high tide.
Duxbury Beach is a long, sandy beach where you can walk for miles. You can also 4 wheel drive on certain parts of the beach.
