Here are a few things of note to see and do here in Singapore. Most all of the attractions can be reached by public transportation and a short walk.
But Taxis are usually easy to come by as are Grab cars.
From our house, you can take the Hillview MRT downtown line all the way to Bayfront MRT exit {30-Minutes) and see the Marina Bay. At Marina Bay you have the famous MBS Hotel (with infinity pool),
the Shoppes along the bay and the Singapore Merlion Fountain.

Marina Bay Sands Singapore

Now the former Ford Factor is just 1km from here. This is a permanent World War Two exhibition presented by the National Archives of Singapore at the historic Former Ford Factory. This was the place where the British forces surrendered unconditionally to the Imperial Japanese Army on 15 February 1942. The exhibition presents the events and memories surrounding the British surrender, the Japanese Occupation of Singapore, and the legacies of the war.

The newest Museum on the block is the Singapore National Gallery. It Is the largest collection of Modern Southeast Asian Art. The building itself used to be the old Supreme courthouse. The National Gallery Singapore is an art museum located in the Downtown Core of Singapore. You can get there by taking the MRT to Newton. Switching from the Downtown line to the red line and get out at City Hall. The museum Is a 10-min walk from the mall called Raffles City.

The newest Museum on the block is the Singapore National Gallery. It Is the largest collection of Modern Southeast Asian Art. The building itself used to be the old Supreme courthouse. The National Gallery Singapore is an art museum located in the Downtown Core of Singapore. You can get there by taking the MRT to Newton. Switching from the Downtown line to the red line and get out at City Hall. The museum Is a 10-min walk from the mall called Raffles City.

BOTANICAL GARDENS
This attraction just made the UNESCO Heritage site. It has quite a history of 160 years and can be quite a beautiful place in the early morning or the evening to see the tropical gardens. (Singapore gets very hot so best to do the outdoor attractions at the start or end of the day.)

The Singapore Zoo is a big attraction. But the Singapore Night Safari is excellent for a night out and is just 15 mins by taxi from the house. If you only visit one of these, I'd recommend the Night Safari.

80 Mandai Lake RdThe Singapore Zoo is a big attraction. But the Singapore Night Safari is excellent for a night out and is just 15 mins by taxi from the house. If you only visit one of these, I'd recommend the Night Safari.
