An easy trail that allows you to get out into nature and pass under an old railroad bridge and currently working road bridges. There's also an entrance at Ingles on Dixon Blvd.

The Ruby C. Hunt YMCA is only 1 mile from Dogwood Crossing. Enjoy fitness equipment, free weights, or a group exercise class (Lauren teaches Zumba Gold at the Y on Wednesday mornings and would love to have you). The pool is open Memorial Day-Labor Day. There is also a library and rock wall. If you're a YMCA member elsewhere, your membership is often good at this YMCA, and if not, free passes are an option. This place has been a staple since Lauren's dad was in college in the '70s. It's our local burger/diner, and along with good food, you'll be greeted as "honey." If you plan to dine in, enter through the door on the left and seat yourself. Menus are often by the door.
