These historically important caves have been inhabited by our ancestors since 80,000 years ago. The view across Walker bay from the cave is unsurpassed and presents a fantastic photo opportunity. The small beach is sheltered and swimming in the clear water is s refreshing prelude to the walk back to your vehicle or to De Kelders, the premier Whale watching site in Walker Bay.
Enter the reserve at the end of De Villiers street in De Kelders, park at the parking area. Go down the steps, think there is about 200 :-) and turn left towards the caves
