One of the few nightclubs in town and part of Newquay folklore. The pub is open every day, the club is only open Saturday nights out of season, but in season opens on various nights. This is where you go for your cheap and cheerful drinks, don’t expect a mind blowing cocktail, it’s likely your feet will stick to the floor if you get there later on as well!

This used to be ‘The Breaks’, but it was pretty much demolished, so this is the replacement. As the name suggests it’s like an old colonial house inside, but with views out to Tolcarne beach. Accessed by steps, or across the beach when the tide is out. They do a decent Pina Colada!

Perched on Pentire Headland, there’s lots of opportunities for views here, but if it’s sunny, IT WILL be busy. You can also walk the headland, with views to Fistral on one side, and Crantock to the other. Out of season, it’s a bit of a trendy local’s hang out. We walk to it, but bare in mind it is further than most, and they have a free car park, so if you’re unsure if you can walk it, then drive.

Go see the poppies! They're totally seasonal, I’m no gardner but it seems to be April-June time, but beware if there are any storms, they’ll most likely be battered so there bloom can be short lived. Never the less, that headland provides a lovely walk, and you can go down to one of the local favourites, Polly Joke beach.
