Great Places to Eat
Ft. Worth has MANY great, local restaurants. Depending on your mood there is something for you!
A local staple. If the weather is nice, be prepared for a possible wait of over an hour for seating anywhere, much less outside. The margaritas are in a class of their own...but be careful with them. No joke...
The food is just average, but it is an experience. Just don't think this is the best Mexican food in town...it isn't...by a long shot!
And big tip...this place is CASH ONLY. There is an atm, but know you will need cash for the bill.

Probably the best prime rib in town. Be prepared to wait a while to get in here on the weekends. It is in the stockyards and is pretty popular. But, the wait it certainly worth it! And get the "Seven Miles of Bad Road" dip. Will change your life.

In case you don't save room, take home dessert because all are epic. Favorite: Salty Dog Cake. Then, there's the staff who are friendly, fun, caring, and uber efficient. Seriously this is worth every penny and every visit.

Things To Do
The Trinity Trails are a great place to walk and experience some of the W7th and downtown area. If you travel south on the trails, there are some great places to eat and relax along the trail.

If you have never visited the Stockyards area of FtW, it is worth a trip. There are some great places to eat, shop, and enjoy the old feelilng of FtW. There is also a weekly cattle drive down Exchange Ave and a gunfight in Stockyards Station.

FtW has GREAT museums! If you only have time for one, I suggest the Modern Art Museum. The building itself is pretty incredible. Admission is FREE to the permanent gallery. If you have an hour to fill, this is a great place to stop in a visit.

It's TopGolf...what's not to like? Make a reservation if possible. It can be very busy.

The revamp of Sundance Square a few years ago made this a must stop in town. There are lots of family friendly things and adult friendly things to do in the area. Scat Jazz lounge is close by, as is Bass Hall and some of the best beer around.
