For the day time, we recommend that you park at Dart's Farm or in the nearby town of Topsham and follow the Exe Estuary Trail (a walking / cycling path) to Exmouth. You will enjoy beautiful estuary views. The Puffing Billy Inn is located in Exton, so you will pass this en route. Perfect to stop for a drink and sit out in the sunshine. For the evenings, we recommend driving or getting the train to Exton and stopping here for some "posh pub grub"!

I used to work here as a waitress, so I am a bit biased! For me though, it's one of the best brunch spots in Exeter. Gorgeous food with generous portions! Great for kids too. On a sunny day, you can sit outside and take in the beautiful surrounding Exeter Quayside.

If you're in Topsham (a nearby town on the estuary, known for its independent shops and fine dining), try out Pebblebed for stone-baked pizza and a glass of English wine - made in vineyards close by! We recommend the sparkling white! For wine enthusiasts, there are also tours of the vineyard.

An intimate gin bar just off Gandy Street (this cobbled street was apparently JK Rowling's inspiration for Diagon Alley!) Amazing gin selection and really accommodating bar staff. A must for all gin-drinking Harry Potter fans!
