Great 14 mile drive north on Cave Creek Road to enjoy the desert views, at Carefree and Cave Creek itself there are a range of art galleries and restaurants and the iconic Boulder Resort.
Especially great drive during the spring when the Arizona wildflowers are in bloom. This should be a good year with lots of rain, the desert is very green.
