Nimbin has a hippie charm that reminds one of Byron Bay. Check out The Nimbin Candle Factory on the outskirts of the town for lovely hand dipped candles made the traditional way. All sorts of colours and shapes available. We love it.

So many beaches in Byron Bay, and this is just one of them. Great for surfing and body surfing. The Pass is at the end of Clarkes Beach, which is one of our favourite beaches in Byron Bay.

We love this beach. It's a bit of a hike down to the beach, but once there, you will want to spend the whole morning or afternoon there. Lovely surf, fine sand, rock pools, dramatic rock cliffs...all make the trek worthwhile. Not advisable for very young or very old, due to the climb down to the beach. And be advised that it is not patrolled.
