Food Scene

The food is amazing Michelin Star worthy! This is probably one of the top 5 restaurants in the area and it's relatively unknown to most local residents. The food is simply amazing, and the prices are very good. It's not a big place, though and it's popular enough that you're going to want to call ahead. When they get busy, they get *really* busy.

This is a great little breakfast spot that is owned and operated by a really special family. It's a true family business - you'll see every member of the family in the kitchen or working the tables and front counter. The restaurant is themed around rowing and regattas, which fits since its the closest you can find to the Royal Henley Regatta course on the 12 Mile Creek. But it's not just for rowers - it's great food every day. Note that they are breakfast and lunch only, so get there early.

One of our favourite restaurants. Swiss Chalet is known for their rotisserie chicken, but over the last few years, they've expanded their menu to include ribs, roast beef, and even perogies. Definitely worth trying.

Formerly the capital city of Upper Canada, Niagara-on-the-Lake has been maintained as a historic village. Parks & Nature

The Butterfly Conservatory and the gardens around it are a great way to spend a few hours. The conservatory allows you to walk through an indoor rainforest filled with butterflies from all over the world, that fly freely throughout the space. Dress colourfully and they'll even land on you. It's a cool place to visit.
