A good place if you like a younger and fun scene filled with music and dancing. They have dollar well drinks on Tuesdays and Karaoke on Thursdays. There are plenty of other bars in downtown Bend if you want to check out the different bars in one night. It is about a 35 minute drive from the tiny house.

More than a mile of a lava tube cave. It is pitch black and it gets cold so bring warm clothes and flashlights. It gets busy on the weekends. Last time I checked it was only $5 for all day access.

Sightseeing
If you go into Bend, this is a good place for a hike. There are two trails that take you up to the top of Pilot Butte where you can see just about everything in Central Oregon. You can also drive to top if you don't feel like making the hike. It is free to access for everyone and a great place for pictures.

If you want to float the river on a hot summer day, this is the spot. It is about a 35-minute drive down into Bend. You can park your car here and float the river on your tube or you can rent one here also. You can float all the way down to Drake Park where a shuttle will give you a ride back to your cars. There are even some optional fun family-friendly rapids halfway down the river.
