Mates Gully is proof that organic is not only sustainable but also delicious! Paul and Marcia, the owners are fabulous and arty. The restaurant is in a grand old house that also has accommodation. I love this place!

I provide a light continental style breakfast in the room. If you would like something heartier or even dinner catered, this would have to be by prior arrangement and will incur a cost. I'm pretty handy in the kitchen! Have worked in hospitality all my life and have very "foodie" kids to inspire and influence me. My son is a chef.... wish he still lived at home!

The Guiness World Record holders for the longest strap of licorice! They also have giant chocolate freckles and all manner of organic chocolate and licorice to purchase. Housed in an old flour mill.... the venue is superb. Live music some weekends. Great spot to stop for coffee and chocolate on your way home from the Temora Aviation Museum!

Attached to the Wagga City Council Chambers and National Art Glass Gallery and the Art Gallery within the chambers themselves. Lovely to walk around the lagoon and from there over the bridge to the Victory Memorial Gardens. From there you could slip into Mates Gully for a coffee!

Along with fishing and camping supplies... it's a day out just checking the place out! It has been built on the site of what used to be the old Drive-In cinema.
