Local food in Northern style, The old place restaurant "Huen Phen" was open more than 40 years, is located in old town city near Wat Phra singh temple, which cooking by local owner. Because of good taste and reasonable prices ( 60-80 baht per menu) make people both Thai and foreigner come back here again and again. Also a few thai dessert is available for serve after your main course finish. Restaurant open everyday 8.30 a.m.-16.00 p.m. , 17.00 p.m.-22.00 p.m.

The palace is also the royal guesthouse for prominent state visitors from abroad. In the past Their Majesties welcomed or granted royal audience to State visitors only in the capital of Bangkok. Bhubing Palace was built in 1961. The construction started initially with only the royal resident building and the guesthouse. The other buildings were additionally built on later dates.
