Now members only so please call ahead to check if they will take a booking. This place is pretty unique and we love it! Watch the sunset over St Brides Bay with a drink. Stay for lunch or dinner or book in for one of their themed food nights. Watch live music in the evening. There is also a lovely beach just down the footpath for a walk or a dip in the sea. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and bags of rustic charm.

Parks & Nature

One of Pembrokeshire's famed beaches for surfing, this is also a great bathing beach (Blue Flag). On the tip of the St David's headland overlooking Ramsey Island, the beach car park has a cafe, shop and public toilets so a great base for a day at the beach with the children, it does get busy during peak season due to it's popularity. It costs £5 to park until 5pm.

Great Blue Flag Beach supervised by lifeguards. Some car park areas have toilets and a cafe. Plenty of space for beach games, it doesn't get as crowded as smaller beaches such as Whitesands.

Everything Else

St Davids is a charming place - the smallest city in Britain. It is bustling in peak season - a good selection of cafes, restaurants and other places to eat and drink. Potteries and galleries selling local artwork. Independent shops, delicatessen, butcher, fruit and veg, flower shops and much, much more. Book boat trips to the island here and explore the Cathedral and it's grounds. There is a good play park for children opposite the supermarket.

Small, quaint settlement with a harbour. Great pub - the Sloop Inn. Lovely fish restaurant - The Shed Bistro, two art galleries and a small independent shop. There is a grassed area outside the pub with football posts for children to play. Porthgain makes a great lunch or drink stop after a walk along the coastal path from Abereiddi Beach and the Blue Lagoon. The Shed also does afternoon tea and takeaway fish and chips.

Abereiddy Beach and the Blue Lagoon are very popular now - mainly because of the Red Bull Cliff Diving Championships which have put the 'Blue Lagoon' on the map. Not much here by way of amenities - perhaps a food/icecream van in peak season, public toilets and a few outdoor providers operate out of the carpark here for coasteering trips around the coast. Worth a visit to sea the blue lagoon (flooded quarry) and watch the brave souls jumping from the ledges - you may even wish to don a wetsuit and join in!
