Located in our very own neighborhood (Windsor Park), this restaurant is absolutely one of a kind in Indianapolis. Started by the same chef who started Milktooth (see below), food choices are limited, small, but incredibly unique. If you’re looking for classic American fare, this is NOT it. If you’re looking for a decadent food journey that will engage all of your senses, this IS it. Food is pricey, but rich and filling.

About as local as it gets, Tick Tock Lounge is a small bar serving up food and drink specials every day of the week. Our favorite is their Monday night $5 burger special (comes with fries!) and rumor has it they have a pretty killer brunch on the weekend, too.

So many good options here. Get a slice or a whole pizza. We love that it’s open late, too. If you’re dining in, there’s a 20’s style cocktail lounge that feels like it’s straight out of the Great Gatsby.

Warning: it may look sketchy from the outside, but inside all the servers and hosts are super friendly and serve up amazing food. Eat in in their fun dining area or order out. Located in the neighborhood of Holy Cross.

The inside is eclectic, food choices are unexpected and unique, and coffee is bottomless! Prepare to spend a pretty penny here. Food is delicious, but portions are pretty small. They have a rotating menu so things change, but they have a few staples that stay the same. According to our friend Kelsey, they have the best grilled cheese sandwich in Indy (comes with a duck egg on top, say whaaat?)

There's a cider spot that shares the same building called Ash and Elm (also highly recommended).
