Just a short walk up the hill. Open 7 days a week from September to May for Breakfast, lunch and dinner if you haven't had time to pick up food yet. It's very affordable, however, it is a University Cafeteria so the food is basic.

Delicious middle-eastern food. Unique dishes, friendly staff, reasonably priced and decent size portions. One of my favorite brunch, lunch and dinner spots.

Great dinners here, a variety of pacific northwest, a bit of everything from seafood to veal. This is a large restaurant with really friendly staff and it's usually fairly busy so the atmosphere is fun.

Drinks & Nightlife

Best craft beer in Squamish is in here. Widowmaker IPA is a must try as well as whatever their current weekly new craft creation. Also the thin crust pizza is delicious, I find it more of a snack than a meal; goes perfectly with the beer.

This place is a Gin Distillery with a small cocktail bar. The bar is very quaint/cute, great atmosphere but very small. The cocktails are delicious, plan a ride home because you are going to want more than 2. Check the hours before you go, they are mainly open just on weekend evenings.

Craft cider is made here and they make fantastic and unique cocktails with all their cider varieties. Food is available in small appetizer portions; it's new to town and has a good vibe.

Parks & Nature

This provincial park has a bit of everything. Walking trails, mountain biking trails, the warmest swimming lake in Squamish, a great kids playground and biking pump track as well as a beach. If you plan to go on a weekend in summer, get there by 10am or the parking lot will be full.

Essentials

This is the closest grocery store and pharmacy in our neighbourhood and the most budget friendly in Squamish, however, not the highest quality. If you are coming from Vancouver, it's worth stopping at Nester's to pick up higher quality fish, meats and produce.

This is where I do most of my grocery shopping, the quality is the highest here and the prices reflect it but not by much. In my opinion, it's worth a little more for a far superior experience and product.

Sightseeing

Take a gondola ride to the top of Squamish and see the town and Howe Sound from a bird's eye view. Once you take the ride up, there are several trails from 15 minutes to 3 hours. There is a large cafeteria restaurant at the top and great beer. If you are feeling fit, you can hike a trail from the bottom up and then take the ride down (plan at least 4 hours if you are doing it this way).
