Beautiful garden seating at this Cafe located right next to Central Park. I love their quiche and breakfast items. Also, it is a great place for an afternoon coffee and dessert. They have a Sunday brunch that is spectacular.

Hugos has delicious ceviche as well as picositas (beer prepared with lime juice, worchester sauce, and spices). They are only open during the day and close around 4 or 5 pm.

Amazing Brewery about 5-10minutes by car/Uber outside of Antigua. It’s located on a coffee plantation and has lots of outdoor space with excellent volcano views. The beers are outstanding, and they have different food vendors each weekend as well as live music.

Beautiful Catholic church with ruins behind it that you can go in to see. Amazing architechtural photos can be taken in the ruin. You can enter the church for free and pay a minimum fee to enter the ruins.

Beautiful church right down the street from our house. The remains of Hermano Pedro are located here. A large procession leaves this church during Holy Week. It is an amazing sight to see the procession leave and enter the church. There are gardens around the church and a small museum and gift shop.

Located 2 blocks from the house, this is a beautiful spot to read in the afternoon or take pictures of the large pila that was used as the public place to wash clothes here in Antigua.

This is a great place for a cookout and swimming. The installations are new and a short tuk tuk or taxi ride away. You pay a small fee for access to the pool and can also rent a cabana with a table, chairs, and a grill for cooking. Just bring your own food to cook, drinks, and towels...and you are set.
