COVID UPDATE: get groceries here! Order online, then pickup at the curb. Has also revamped patio for social distancing fairly well. WALKABLE. Fun for a quick beverage, casual hang, a little flavor of the neighborhood. This is where you'll see local NoDa-ians in their native habitat. Get a NoDa Colada anytime, grab a snack or a king-of-pops popsicle, play a game, or go on Saturday morning and see what you find at the farmers' & arts market.

Lightrail/shortwalk, or car/uber there. The reboot. Part convenience store, part beer/wine bar, part deli, it's a hub for neighbors to hang. This one is in South End, and is a new 2018 re-build of a beloved one that was torn down to make way for progress. Funky vibe. Bonus: a Cluck Design Collaborative project.

COVID UPDATE: Patio is open, definitely bike shop repairs are open. Also ask about mobile bike repairs if you can't get your bike to them. Lightrail+trolley, or car/uber there. Or duh: bike. Yes, a bicycle shop with a beer bar. Need a tune up while you're here? Go here. Gritty old school, PBR, and a great outdoor patio. Get to it by bike, or lug your junker there via light rail to CTC Transportation Center station, then grab the (free) streetcar/trolley. Bonus: It's near Earl's Grocery, which kicks ASS for lunch.

COVID UPDATE: takeaway & delivery, including cocktail kits (dunno how they get that through the ABC folks but whatever). WALKABLE. Award winning. Long awaited and much anticipated (and nationally written about) new style food hall. A great place to go when everyone in your group wants something different from each other, or when you want a fun place to just be. Weekdays are a nice place to chill and wifi. Much outdoor space available. It'll be interesting to see how this evolves through the years, although right now it's about 15 food vendors, one stationary shop, and one pet food place.

COVID temp closed. WALKABLE. Brand spankin' new, as of Spring 2019, it's a custom cocktail bar. Also has a few beer/wine selections, plus a smattering of appetizers, all of which are quite good, but here's the fun part: there's no cocktail menu. You'll be asked a few questions (boozy, or refreshing... etc etc) until they land upon a cocktail to suit your mood at that moment in time. And no $urprises: all cocktails are $13. You do have to be a member, although don't get too worked up over it: It's a buck, literally $1. But bring your ID. The intake process of getting in the door could frankly use a little work from a flow perspective, but it's a much kinder place than it seems once you get past that-- plus my hunch is that they'll work that out over time. Worth a go. And cheers!

Uber or car there-- fairly closeby but not quite walkable/scoot-able. Open on Friday evenings and sometimes Saturday mornings, it's an electic re-use of the old Ford Model T manufacturing compound. Multiple buildings, usually 2 food trucks on friday nights, live music, popsicles, and craft beer-- interestingly quirkly handmade furniture abounds, lots of spaces to hang and let the kids run wild without worrying about them running into traffic. Plus the occasional farmers market on Saturday mornings.
