Before the Fish Fry, there was Potter's Cay. Very small shacks by the side of the road are selling conch salad cut to order & great Bahamian food. There are also veggie vendors under the bridge.

Public Beach access is on the right (E) side of the P.I. Beach Club. Quieter than at the access by the RIU. The Club has a mini-mart, and you are also usually welcome at their beach bar & grill.
