Once a through road over the West Fork of Clear Creek, this spur was permanently closed in 2013 to open up the creek to fish passage. Now, cross the footbridge and follow the paved path right down to where salmon live and thrive. A great place for visitors and families to picnic and explore the wonders of the creek. Parking on either side of Winter Creek Ave, or at Clear Creek Elementary School 12901 Winter Creek Ave.

The glass salmon artwork created by local artist, Lisa Stirrett, is a beautiful tribute how so much of our lives depend on clean water. Access via the Clear Creek trail system at Old Mill Park on the southwest side of the bridge near the interpretive center on the northeast.
