Drinks & Nightlife
A cozy pub that is a neighbourhood favourite. It’s not big so it can be tricky to get a table at busy times. Good for burgers, pastas and other comfort foods.

The menu for the Highlander was recently revamped to go beyond the usual pub food. They have a good selection of craft beers and an excellent scotch list. The O-train construction is happening on the same corner so the walking street it’s next to it a little less quaint than usual.

We also like this place for brunch because of the big windows and the booths. Their brunch selection isn’t as extensive as Tutti Fruitti or Cora’s as it’s known for their Montreal-style smoked meat.
