Apartman SaRita is located in a peaceful part of town called Mokošica, only 9 km away from the UNESCO-protected Old Town; in a perfect place for those wanting a friendly atmosphere, peace and quiet vacation where you can enjoy in the walks by the river Ombla that overflows into the sea and amazing views on Dubrovnik bridge and Adriatic sea. What you can not find here are big hotel chain and crowded streets. So if you are looking for a place to relax after all day crowds in Dubrovnik – Old Town than you will be delighted in our place. Walking by the river and sea area you will see a lots of old mansions from 16th century such as mansion of family Bunica, Ranjina and Zuzorić, including the most important mansion Gučetić - Đurđevićev, in which was held the last council of Dubrovnik nobility in year 1814. There is also mansion Zamanjića with Little Chapel. The river Ombla is the shortest river in the world. Only 30 meters from the Ombla source there is a small waterfall, 70cm high, where river Ombla overflows into the Adriatic Sea, the 5 km long fjord is called Rijeka Dubrovačka. Water from the river has been used by the Dubrovnik waterworks since year 1437. You can enjoy in nice meal and couple of drinks overlooking the river or waterfall in Bistro Izvor or great restaurant BoGo and one cozy bar Vapor located by the river. ACI Marine is also located on the river Ombla, just 5 min driving distance from the apartman SaRita, with a great restaurants and cocktail bars, tennis courts, football playground with artificial grass, children`s theme playground, swimming pool area, massage parlor, hairdresser. ACI Marina Dubrovnik is known as one of the most beautiful Croatian marinas. Grocery shops Mokošica Market and Studenac Market, bakery, ATM, coffee bar Zeppelin, restaurant Rosa Bianca, and bus station are located 2 minutes walking distance from the house.

For the first you need to see the City Walls - the largest and the most famous cultural monument in Dubrovnik, 1,940 meters in length, and one of the most beautiful, best-preserved fortifications in Europe. Cultural Historical Museum (located in the Rector’s Palace) - a permanent exhibition of artistic paintings, furniture and daily items dating between the 16th - 19th centuries in the suitably decorated rooms of the Rectors Palace, the seat of the Rector and government during the Dubrovnik Republic. Other museums are: Maritime Museum, Natural Museum, Art Gallery, Franciscan Friars Minor Monastery Museum, or Cathedral Treasury. Or you could just explore streets of the Old Town by walking down the most famous street in the world called Stradun. Island Lokrum Why don't you escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in the Mediterranean vegetation in an island full of surprises, just 10 minutes from the Old City. The island Lokrum is Dubrovnik's green oasis and it is Forest Reserve. The boat to Lokrum departs from the Old Town port. Srđ Mount Or you could enjoy in one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Dubrovnik, Cavtat and the entire Dubrovnik costal region on Srđ mount. It rises above Dubrovnik and stans 413 meters high. The view will leave you breathless. You can go by cabel car or by your car on Srđ Mount.

With two unique seawater lakes surrounded by pine woods that reach the shore creating an atmosphere of untouched nature, the Mljet National Park is frequented by tourists the whole year round. Rent a bicycle and cycle to the woods and lake shore, or merely take a walk, smell pinewood and take a boat to the Isle of St Mary - situated in the middle of the Large Lake - and explore the 12th century Benedictine Monastery and Church. The National Park is definitely worth a trip. There are daily boat departures from Gruž harbour.
