Go to the Criterion Theater in downtown Bar Harbor preferably during the day. If the owner/manager is there you should ask for a tour of the tunnels throughout the town that used to link the theatre to the "book clubs" that were open during prohibition.

Many years ago Anemone Cave in the heart of Acadia National Park was once one of the National Park's star attractions. People came from far and wide to hike down to this ancient sea cave and explore its insides. But than the National Park Service decided to abandon the cave from the parks attractions. All sign's and railings that led down the cliff to the sea cave were removed, and in recent years, Anemone Cave has been removed from maps. It is very important to note that Anemone Cave is a sea cave and can only be entered at low tide. At high tide the cave is under water, so check and find out what time low tide is before making the trip. Take the trail to enter the cave from the left, and remember to wear sturdy shoes with good grips!
